Nassau
On March 13th we will be visiting the port of Nassau, on the island of New Providence, in the Bahamas! We are scheduled to be in port from 7am to 4pm. Plenty of time for you to enjoy the sun and all the island has to offer.
The town that would be called Nassau was founded in 1670 by British noblemen who brought British settlers with them to New Providence. They built a fort, and named it Charles Town in honour of England’s King Charles II.

Swimming with Pigs in Exuma by Speed Boat $429/person
The scenic route from Nassau by speed boat to the Exuma Cays leads to stops along the way that are sure to excite you! The first stop is feeding wild iguanas, followed by an up-close and personal swim at Compass Cay with the Exuma nurse sharks. Once on the island, an array of activities are available to our guests including snorkel instruction and a guided snorkeling tour. Fish feedings are also a popular attraction and especially fun for kids. We include a buffet lunch, served on our southern pavilion overlooking picturesque Lower Harbour, and feature our very own Sandy Toes Gift Shop with one-of-a-kind souvenirs. Snorkeling gear, river tube floats and kayaks are available for rent. Fresh water showers and upgraded bathrooms are also available on the island for the comfort of our guests!
Laze in the hammock garden or bask in the sun on your own private beach. Also equipped with wi-fi and direct TV, our beach bar is a great social atmosphere where you can mingle with our friendly staff or meet fellow travelers!

Take a tour of the attractions of Nassau, which is ideal for cruise passengers on brief stops in Nassau or anyone with limited time in the Bahamas; it’s also a great introduction for first-time visitors.
